Leaving shiraz at 8 am. about 1.5 hours driving to Pasargadae to see the tomb of the Cyrus the Great and the remains of the Pasargadae palaces and structures.

then about 45 minutes driving back to necropolis.this site is the ancient graveyard of Persian kings.there are four tombs in the face of the mountain from Darius the Great, his son Xerxes, his grandson Artaxerxes l and his great-grandson Darius ll. there are also a cubic building and some Sassanid bas-relief that beautifully carved on the mountain.

later driving 4 km to Persepolis.in Persepolis we spend at least 2 hours to explore the different palaces and learn about its detailed bas-reliefs.

finally, about 1 hour driving back to shiraz.
